“I met Paul DiBiase 4½ years ago when I hired him to fix the foundation posts on the cottage I bought. My little house was sliding down the hill and quite shaky. He dug out each post by hand and replaced each one with a deeper, bigger, mushroomed post and built up the timbers under the house. He did an amazing job, in the heat of the summer, and made my little home very solid. He was always a gentleman and helped me with many little jobs. I hired him again to put in a retaining wall on the hillside behind my home. He shored up the new septic tank and put a lovely set of cement steps going down to my newly made basement. This retaining wall is built to last, with a cement structure going 4 feet into the ground. It is beautiful and very functional. I have hired him again to put in a cement slab for an Endless Pool coming this spring. He will then help me to build a greenhouse around the pool.
Paul is extremely knowledgeable and very proficient with both wood, stone and cement. Here on the island we all deal with projects getting done on island time but once Paul starts a project he finishes it without too much waiting. He is trustworthy and efficient. I would recommend him for any number of projects. He is kind and always extremely polite and helpful.”

“I have used Island Construction for a variety of repairs and improvements to our home on Peaks Island. Paul gives very competitive pricing and does great work. And Paul can do almost anything, from foundation and concrete work to finished carpentry and final paint. He completes the work for the price quoted and is easy to communicate with. I would not hesitate to use him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great contractor on Peaks.”

“Just a quick note thanking Paul and Island Construction for all the help last summer with the footings and floor. It was a big job and his help was instrumental in the success of the project. The best part was Paul's flexibility to get it DONE! Thank you Paul!”

“I'm a happy homeowner!
I'm happy to share that we ventured out on a major home renovation with Paul DiBiase early in 2020. The scope of our renovation was both significant and varied. Paul was not afraid to tackle challenging projects and he was excellent in offering creative solutions to difficult problems. He was both persistent to get projects competed and flexible when vendors couldn't deliver as promised.
In addition to his work ethic and creativity I really appreciated that Paul both offered suggestions for solutions AND also engaged with my own experience and knowledge. This made working with him feel like a partnership, which made everything much more satisfying.
Paul was willing to go the extra mile, for example trying out various products until he found just the right result; and helping with hiring staff for unrelated projects to his specific tasks.
Additionally, he worked well from all the way across the country and provided update pictures to keep me informed; and gave me honest feedback on my selections of styles and applications.
Finally, Paul stayed calm amidst change even when it was out of his sphere of influence/control and in spite of this he met our deadlines.
With Paul's skill and hard work together, we met our goals.”
